Katie joined our Candlewick Crew in 2017, but her career started back in 2010. A graduate of the Connecticut School of Dog Grooming, she has continued her education by taking seminars in skin and coat care. Her experience and knowledge keeps us up to date on the latest products, allowing us to constantly improve the level of care we offer our clients. While we love all pups here, one of Katie’s favorite breeds to work with are Airedales. For Katie, the highlight of grooming is the relationship she builds with pets and their parents. When she’s not grooming, Katie is an avid runner, and can usually be found with her daughter and her loyal companions: Nala and Geno the Bully Breed Mixes, Ruby the Australian Cattle Dog, and her kitties Izzy and Syndey.
