Inside Area

Every dog in our care will have their own spacious indoor area that has access to a covered outdoor area via a doggie door. The inside areas measure 4 x 5 in dimension. We keep water bowls down 24 hours a day and refill during the day as needed. Regardless of breed size they enjoy the same size suite. During the morning period of outside exercise, the inside areas are disinfected, cleaned, sanitized, and completely dried. As required, the inside kennel areas are spot cleaned to be kept free of any accidents. The entire facility is heated and air conditioned to keep your pet warm and comfortable in the winter and cool in the summer.

Outside Area

Additionally, every dog will also have their own private outside area. Outside areas are 15 feet long and covered by a roof for protection against the elements. We thoroughly disinfect and dry each outside area daily. Our indoor and outdoor areas are separated by a doggie door system. When an attendant pulls the rope connected to the pulley system, the doggie door opens to the outside area. This design allows your pet to relax and enjoy the fresh forest air and interact and make friends with his or her neighbors throughout the day.

Crystal Suites

For giant breeds, multiple dog families or those pets that love to be spoiled, we offer our large crystal suites. These suites feature roomy 5 x 8 indoor areas and spacious 8 x 15 outdoor runs. The indoor sections are separated by 4 foot high solid walls and fencing. We have a limited number of these private runs, so we advise they be reserved ahead of time.

Sleeping Arrangements

We provide every guest with a canvas backed cot that sits approximately four inches off the floor. Your pets will really find these cots comfortable. We always welcome machine-washable towels, blankets, or cuddle beds to make your pets feel more comfortable and at home. You are welcome to bring anything from home that will help make your pet more comfortable, but please be cautious of bringing anything that cannot be replaced in case it gets lost or damaged. Our staff ensures that each pet's sleeping quarters are as cozy and comparable to home as possible. They won't know the difference!

Families with Mulitple Dogs

Most dogs from the same family not only get along, they are practically inseparable. If this describes your family of four legged friends, we recommend boarding them together. Dogs rooming together will be separated during feeding time to monitor how much each pet consumes and to prevent food related arguments. However, if this is a cause for concern, you’re more than welcome to board your pets separately.  Multiple dog families may be eligible for lodging discounts.

Canine Cuisine

We offer the pets in our care three meals a day. While breakfast, lunch and dinner are served, not every dog requires as frequent of a feeding schedule. We always suggest that your pet be kept on the same feeding schedule that they are used to at home. We are happy to accommodate!

Bil-Jac Select

The dry kibble we serve is Bil-Jac. Bil-Jac is made from name-brand fresh chicken ingredients. Bil-Jac are small, slender pellets that are easily consumed by dogs of any size. Because of its high quality, many show enthusiasts and breeders have chosen Bil-Jac as their food of choice.

In addition to offering Bil-Jac Select, we also offer Puppy, Senior and Reduced Fat Bil-Jac. If you have any concerns that your pet might not like the taste of Bil-Jac, we offer free samples for you to pick up and try prior to your pet’s stay. If your pet is a finicky eater, we have moist saucy beef chunks served with or without dry kibble.

Food From Home

We highly recommend bringing your pet's food from home if your dog has a sensitive stomach or is on a special diet, prescription diet, or a raw diet. We do have microwaves and refrigerators for food preparation and storage requirements. If you choose to bring your pet’s food from home, please ensure that you supply enough for your pet’s entire stay. Food supplied by pet owners is stored and prepared individually for each pet.

Health and Medication

*All dogs must have current immunization for: Distemper, Rabies, Bordetella and Influenza (H3N2 & H3N8)

Medical History

We ask that you make us aware of your pet’s medical history during check-in to ensure your pet is happy and healthy during their stay with us. Knowledge of anything from minor ailments such as fear of thunder, a chronic limp or recent diarrhea to more serious conditions like a torn ACL, epilepsy, food allergies or instance of blood in urine or stool will help our staff better care for your pet during their stay.

Medications and Supplements

Our trained and experienced staff will administer prescription medications and supplements to your pet. At the time of your check-in, present the medication your pet needs with a description of its proper dosage and frequency. If your pet must take daily medication, we recommend bringing the medication in its original bottle versus a pill case or plastic bag. If this is not possible, drug name and dosage is sufficient. There is a charge of one dollar per day for each medication for your pet no matter how many doses are to be given during a day. Our staff will ensure your pet takes their medication as prescribed and will administer the medication by placing the tab on their tongue and gently massaging the pet’s neck and throat. We also use peanut butter and pill pockets to help conceal the medication if needed. If your pet prefers to take their medication with something other than what we supply, you’re welcome to bring it in from home. To better care for your pet, we ask that you make us aware of your pet's medical history during check-in.
