Reservations
Reservations are taken by phone only, please call 1-860-633-6878. Candlewick is limited in capacity so that the owners and staff are allowed time to personally attend each pet. In view of this, advance reservations are necessary.

Air Service
Candlewick maintains complete airport service with links to all scheduled carriers at Bradley International and Brainard Airport.

Pick Up and Delivery:

Candlewick provides personal door to door service, anywhere.

 

Hours:

Monday through Saturday, 8:30am to 6pm. Sunday, noon to 5pm. Check in is any time within these hours. Rates apply for the day of admission. Checkout is before 12:00 noon, Monday through Saturday. All pets checking out in the afternoon or on Sunday will be charged for the day.

 

Prior to check-in, all dogs must have current immunization for:

• Distemper (DHLPP)

• Rabies

• Bordetella

Prior to check-in, all cats must have current immunization for:

• Distemper (FVRC-P)

• Rabies

• Feline leukemia (or, negative test within 12 months)

Immunizations are considered current if administered within the year prior to the last day of your pet's stay. It is suggested that pets not current with immunizations be vaccinated at least 10 days prior to check-in.

All guests will be examined for Ecto-Parasites and must be treated if found positive. Owners are invited to bring favorite toys or sleeping accoutrements.
